Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you create an account, TrickleWise stores your first name, your email address, a confirmation that you are 21 or older, a one-time verification token, and a hashed copy of your password. Your password is never stored in a readable form.

If you arrive through an advertisement, we may record the campaign identifiers in the URL (such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid and UTM tags) together with the page you landed on and the site you came from, and attach them to your account when you register.

Our servers also keep ordinary technical logs: IP address, browser and device type, approximate country, and timestamps.

We never collect payment details, because there is nothing on TrickleWise to buy.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

• operate the site and keep you signed in;
• send the emails you asked for — a verification link, and notices when new games are added;
• measure which advertisements bring visitors who actually enjoy the site;
• protect the site against abuse, fraud, and automated attacks;
• diagnose faults and keep the catalog working.

We do not build advertising profiles of you, and we do not score or predict your behaviour for any real-money gambling purpose.

Games served by third parties

Games are streamed from third-party game servers. When you open a game, your browser connects to those servers directly, so they receive your IP address and standard technical information in the same way any website would. TrickleWise never passes your name, email address, or account details to them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The only parties who ever receive your data are the vendors that host our infrastructure and deliver our email on our behalf, acting solely on our instructions, plus any disclosure we are legally required to make.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, and receive a copy of it.
• Delete your personal information.
• Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
• Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes we will publish a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link first.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.
• Non-discrimination. You will never receive a different level of service for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise a right, email privacy@tricklewise.com from the address on your account. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where the law allows. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.

Other US state privacy rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana — have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to appeal a refused request. Use the same address above and tell us which state you live in.

Children and people under 21

TrickleWise is intended solely for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21, and certainly not from children under 13 as defined by COPPA. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email privacy@tricklewise.com and we will delete the account and its data promptly.

Cookies and browser storage

We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in after you log in. We use your browser's local storage to remember advertising attribution details as you move between pages, until you register. We do not run third-party advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept for as long as your account exists. Ask us to close your account and the associated personal data is removed. Technical logs rotate out on a short operational schedule. We keep only what is needed to meet legal, security, and record-keeping obligations.

How we protect it

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations, SHA-256). Sessions are carried in a signed, HTTP-only, Secure cookie. The entire site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so we limit our exposure by not collecting data we do not need.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the revision date at the foot of this page, and we will flag any significant change on the site itself.
